Feeling Low

Hey everybody sorry I haven't been updating as much , been real busy with work and stuff however I these are some sketchbook drawings that Im proud of and wanna show you. Im thinking I should color the skull head guy but we'll see. Lately I've been feeling like I'm not going anywhere with this stuff I have so much to learn and I feel I should be where I want to be by now. I'll try my best to keep pushing.  Stay tuned.

...So far so good I've been laying back and waiting for school to roll in so I did this in the past two hours not bad for my first attempt eh? It's in progress but  I'll keep em comin' as long as you stay tuned!!!

Im sorry guys I completely didn't realize that I dont have a large format scanner but either way there will be more updates. Again im very sorry keep tuning in. 

These drawing were illustrations first and they later took form of a wood engraving , ill upload that soon too. :)

Todays update

This piece is called nurture. I wanted to make humans come from plants, in away this is a continuation of a woodblock drawing I also did this past year. I was thinking about making several different color variations maybe I will in the near future.

Some 11x17's

Im sorry I have missed the past couple days of posting, I've been super busy with getting back in shape for school. I'm gunna be doing some model drawings but in the mean time I'll post some of the 11x17s that I've worked on this past school semester. I be posting one each day. Stay tuned

Villains wil be villains

     So today I went to one of my favorite comic spots and spoke to a really cool guy. For the past few weeks I have been showing him my sketchbook and telling him about my trials and tribulations of putting work on the internets. He basically told me villains will be villains. In other words he was saying people are going to steal, people will lie and people will always act like idiots but I should not let them stop me from going where I need to go in life . That was the best advice I have ever heard, and I'm very thankful for that. Though some fear still sits inside of me I will no longer allow it to stop my motives completely. So with out further adue here are the first drafts of "Tails".

I know I know this isn't that great but all of these works will be redrawn once I become a little better. I will aslo try my hand at color as soon as I can get my hand on photoshop. 

Journey to Full Sail

Today I got lost in thought and was thinking about my future. My dream is to get into Full Sail University to learn how to make video games and be a part of video game art. As I always say I know I have a long way to go.  So as I draw and draw everyday and everynight I'm hoping that this work will be enough.  As for the webcomic ideas that I have in mind, ill be uploading them shortly. Now i'm warning you they are not that great but with practice comes perfection right. But anyway here are todays updates keep tuning in :)

ARTIST BLOCK!!! 0.0

After coming out of work today I had an idea to draw a woman in a tree looking out in to the distance but then suddenly something crawled down and possessed my hand. It was artists block!!! I couldn't draw a female figure no matter how hard I tried. I was sitting there in the train getting so frustrated my pencil began to jolt across my page leaving scratchy angry harsh line work. People were looking at me like "that boys gone mad". Then as the train rose up from 3 ave and 149th street the light of day had powered me up. I continued to fight and fight valiantly I did for this drawing was born from frustration. Dont ever fall victim to artists block.

Going digital

With all the money I have saved up this summer I can finally afford the adobe suite 6 collection at an awesome discount price. I guess being an art student has its perks. With that said, my goal to create a successful web-comic seems to be more feasible. As usual to perfect anything one must practice, so i'll continue to update the site with new works which will most likely be in the progression stages. I have been dying to put some color on this site so stay tunned everyone !!!
